Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Interior Designer / Design Manager to lead commercial office interior projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workplace planning, BOQ preparation, client presentations, project coordination, and managing multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

• Lead the complete commercial interior design lifecycle from concept to project completion.
• Develop innovative workplace concepts and space planning solutions.
• Prepare high-quality 2D layouts, 3D models, renders, walkthroughs, and presentation decks.
• Review design quality before client submission.

BOQ & Cost Planning

• Prepare complete Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Perform quantity estimation and rate analysis.
• Support value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Recommend materials based on quality, budget, and functionality.

Client Management

• Understand business requirements and workplace objectives.
• Present design concepts and mood boards.
• Handle client feedback professionally.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with Projects, Procurement, MEP, Sales, Execution Teams, Vendors, and Consultants.
• Ensure timely design approvals and resolve technical design issues.
• Monitor project milestones.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 designers.
• Review drawings before execution and guide junior designers.
• Allocate project responsibilities and maintain quality standards across all deliverables.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and commercial office design standards.
• Maintain documentation and conduct design reviews to ensure project quality throughout execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent recognized Design qualification.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Commercial Interior Design experience.
• Minimum 3 years of client-facing experience.
• Experience in Managed Office Space or Coworking industry.
• Proven experience leading complete commercial workspace projects and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Successfully managed a team of 3–5 designers.
• Delivered over 300,000 sq. ft. of commercial workspace projects.
• Strong commercial workplace planning expertise and BOQ preparation experience.
• Experience working with enterprise clients and strong technical drawing knowledge.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to work under deadlines.

Technical Skills

• Design Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop.
• Office Tools: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word.

• Commercial Interior Design, Workplace Strategy, Space Planning, BOQ Preparation, Cost Estimation, Material Selection, Furniture Planning, Office Fit-Out Design, Value Engineering, Client Presentation, Vendor Coordination, Project Management, Team Leadership, Cross-functional Collaboration, Design Quality Review.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Coworking projects, Enterprise Workspace Design, LEED/Green Building exposure, BIM knowledge, and experience with premium office interiors.
