The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Manager – eCommerce Payments to lead the development, enhancement, and commercialization of SynraPay's payment gateway products.

The ideal candidate will combine strong payment industry knowledge with technical understanding, commercial awareness, and a merchant-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development

Own the product roadmap for SynraPay's eCommerce payment gateway.

Translate business requirements into product specifications, user stories, and development priorities.

Lead product development from conceptualization through testing, launch, and continuous improvement.

Identify market gaps and develop differentiated payment solutions.

Payment Gateway & Integrations

Manage integrations with acquiring banks, payment processors, card schemes, and alternative payment methods.

Oversee payment functionalities including authorization, capture, refunds, voids, recurring payments, tokenization, and payment links.

Drive improvements in transaction success rates, payment routing, and checkout experiences.

Work closely with technology teams on APIs, hosted payment pages, SDKs, and merchant integrations.

Merchant Experience & Automation

Own the merchant onboarding journey, including digital onboarding and integration experiences.

Develop intuitive merchant dashboards, reporting capabilities, and reconciliation solutions.

Identify opportunities to introduce AI-driven insights, intelligent alerts, and automated workflows.

Continuously improve the merchant experience based on customer feedback and market requirements.

Cross-Functional Execution

Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Sales, and Partnerships teams.

Manage product backlogs, sprint priorities, UAT, and production readiness.

Coordinate with external technology providers and acquiring partners.

Establish product performance metrics and monitor adoption, reliability, and commercial impact.

Required Experience & Qualifications

5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably with at least 3 years in payment gateway or eCommerce payment product management.

Strong understanding of the UAE or wider Middle East payments ecosystem.

Experience working with payment gateways, PSPs, acquiring banks, or payment technology providers.

Working knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, 3D Secure, tokenization, PCI DSS, and payment processing flows.

Experience with REST APIs, payment integrations, and Agile product development.

Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to translate complex technical requirements into commercially viable products.

Preferred Experience
UAE Experience is preferred.

Experience with Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS), Cybersource, or similar payment platforms.

Knowledge of smart payment routing, automated reconciliation, and AI-enabled payment analytics.

Experience launching payment products from MVP to commercial scale.

Previous experience in a FinTech startup or high-growth payment technology company.
