Will it delete parts of my resume to make it fit?+
Never. We keep every single line. If something has to come off the page to make it fit we set it aside rather than delete it. It sits in a 'Not on the page' drawer, grouped by section, and goes back with one click (or all at once). You can also switch to a two-page resume, which puts everything back automatically. Forcing one page on a ten-year career is how other builders quietly lose half your experience.
Should my resume be one page or two pages?+
It depends on how much career you have, and we work it out from your own dates rather than making you guess: one page for early career, two once you have enough history that cutting to one would cost you real experience. You can override it with the Length control at any time. Switching to two pages automatically restores anything that was set aside to fit one.
Can I make a resume with a photo?+
Yes, on the templates that have a frame for one: Portrait, Roundel and Cameo. Your photo never leaves your device: it is held in your browser and embedded straight into the PDF, never uploaded to us. A photo is expected on Indian resumes and normal across much of Europe and Asia, but leave it off for US, UK and Canadian roles, where recruiters are advised to discard resumes that carry one.
Can I add things that weren't in my original resume?+
Yes, anywhere. You can insert a new section, a new role, or a single line at any position. Hover between any two items and a '+' appears. You can also rename any section heading, so 'Publications', 'Patents' or 'Volunteering' all work.
Does the AI rewrite or invent anything?+
It transcribes, it does not write. The model's only job is reading a messy PDF and working out which line is a job title and which is a company. It is instructed never to add a skill, employer, date, degree or metric that isn't in your file, because being caught in an interview with an invented credential is far worse than an ugly resume. Wherever text was changed, your original wording is one click away.

Save as PDF unless the posting specifically asks for .docx. Every template here is built to those rules, so you do not have to check them yourself.
Does this work for freshers with no work experience?+
Yes, and it changes the page for you. What happens to my resume file?+
We extract the text, structure it and send it to your browser. Your file itself is never persisted, held only for the seconds it takes to read the text, and no account or database record is created. The structured result sits in a cache for half an hour, keyed only by a hash of the text with nothing identifying who uploaded it, so re-uploading the same resume is instant and free; after that it is gone. It is never shown to employers, and all editing and the PDF itself happen on your own device.
My PDF is a scan. Why can't you read it?+
A scanned or photographed PDF is an image, so there is no text to extract. Use the 'Paste text instead' option and type or paste your resume. Everything else works exactly the same.
